History
Opening 1994.
In 1994, a rural tourism and hospitality establishment called “Potrti Kotač” opened in Jurovčak. The project was built around a 150-year-old family farmhouse, which was carefully renovated to preserve its authentic appearance and atmosphere. The owner, Patrik Končić, with the help of his family, created a space that offers guests local specialties, including traditional dishes, sausages, bacon, and a variety of drinks. The unique charm of the facility quickly became a key asset in boosting tourism and attracting visitors to the region.
Thanks to its success and growing demand, the restaurant expanded in 1996 with the addition of a new hall, providing 80 extra seats. Unfortunately, in 2014, the restaurant was devastated by a major fire that destroyed the kitchen and part of the dining area. As a result, the restaurant was closed for six months. Following extensive renovations and modernization, it reopened in its new form on April 4, 2015.
